In this age of Covid-19, many companies including Google, Facebook, Amazon has moved towards work-from-home scheme.

But to ensure integrity & productivity of company its very important to monitor what your employee is accessing and how are they using it.

Here are some security tips to ensure it: -

1. Use of VPN:

Its one of most effective way to access the data from core system. It also provides an extra level of security as:

· It masks the user’s location

· It hides the user’s IP address

· And encrypts data while transit

2. Train employee with basic security knowledge:

The company must provide basic knowledge of security in digital world to their employees. Each employee must know about how to avoid phishing mails, not to open any unknown source links, how to make a strong & secure password, how to ensure the security of Wi-Fi routers.

3. Password audits:

IT Team of company must run a password audits time to time in company, for all the company related accounts. The passcodes must be strong & must include alphabets, numbers, special characters.

4. Reset by default passwords:

All the by default password has to be reset including of wifi routers, company mails and more. As its very easy to get Access with by default passwords.

5. Updates and firewalls:

All the softwares of company & it’s employee’s devices must be updated time to time, to ensure they are up with latest security patches in them.

6. Data Backup:

All the company related data must be backup on regular basis, to ensure no data loss in case if anything goes wrong.

7. IT Team Support:

IT team must be in contact with all the employees of company, and ensure the smooth flow to work & must be ready with a backup plan for the emergency.

Its a private network contained within an enterprise that is used to securely share company information & resources among its employees.
